New investors often ask me what they should be expecting when they get into the market and start investing for the first time.
It’s hard to know what big-time investing can be like until you’re actually in the arena.
For me, I’m convinced that you need to take your lumps. You have to get kicked in the stomach, at least once. But likely even more than that, to finally understand the importance of Risk Management.
But if you can somehow figure out a way to eliminate your emotionally driven decisions completely, I believe it puts you way ahead of 99% of market participants around the world.
